MayaLiveTracking

well yesterday i suppose to blog
but in the end i cant think of any title
so i give up

today i continue my mayalive tracking part2
finally sumthing really extremely useful caught my attention
and raise my desire to share with frens who learning maya

i learnt how to place plane and boxes according to the trackmarker i tracked earlier
those plane and boxes are used to create ( as far as i understand)
-the actual environment in the footage
-animation purpose like standin on ground
-to get the shadow that suppose to be generate on ground and surrounding

here is the Extremely useful shortcut
create a sphere, add a light, press "7"
maya enter interactive mode
when u Rotate the light
you saw direct changes on the sphere in maya
which let u animate and put any desirable lights correctly ( i mean easily)
If i knw this earlier i could hv use it in my FYP for lighting part T.T

This lightprobe was captured at where the footage was recorded
purpose is to use the color value in this lightprobe in lights that you going to set in maya
in the end, lighting on your 3d object tat create in maya will be sumwher around this output
then it will blend well in footage

Previous tat 1 is for Shadow purpose
this brighter is for mainlight purpose

All these info can be nonsense for sum CG artist coz they already knew
but it's pretty much helpful for me

but i insist to blog about this movie

coz i wanted to Remember it

it's a epic awesome movie

i luv the front part

reborn, new world, fantasy , freedom

i'm listening now + bloggin XD

last part was cool

tat's where the ganzheong part begin

been talkin wit lots of ppl who like this movie

Please dont be a hater

and you'll definitely like this movie

Their world - Pandora is awesome

Their kind - The Na'vi is awesome

Their nature elements are awesome

Their Fighting scenes are awesome

Their CG is awesome

the Great 1 shd be the Story , Concept, Ideas.

Without one's concept

there's no such a movie

i feel so fresh while watching it

their World - Pandora really beautiful

every single elements

tiny living organics

big trees in the forest

their kind and beasts

experience while exploring the world

the relationship between Human and the Navi

wow it just insanely break into my mind and caught me tight

i will watch it again in 3D

so fall in love with their fantasy world

Now i got 2 whole-time-favor-movie

Transformers and Avatar

they're exactly 2 diff things

i personally thinks that TF working hard in comp the 3D into Footage

Calculating reality elements such as reflections, lighting, and transforming awesomeness

it is more in hardsurface modeling, hightech and sci-fi

And then Avatar is more on organic form

it reversed, comp Footage into 3d

coz i think besides the Human inside, probably whole thing juz 3d + greenscreen

those actors acting in the air lolz

But , concept wise, AVATAR no fight.

FYP

fyp almost come to an end
time is less than 1 month now
if you haven't done urs
probably ur final will be around 20% more than wat u have now
if you're nearly done
i guess u're quite tired and started to be lazy to OPEN TURBO and do jor..

these few days doing ntg , juz rendering in maya + simulating in realflow
Simulation was heavy, after 2days its quality has to be decrease again.
Coz with the better quality mesh
i load hundred times in maya
it crash thousand times

sumhow mine 1 is quad
it's not the best but it shdn't be that weak
hope it was the meshes problem
if not sure i feel like upgrading again = =

Rendering maya stuff in smallest resolution
for viewing and planing purpose
Diablo2 is our fren recent days
Evday rush level >_<
rendering shd be easy
animate, settings, render
but im dealin with nic's MESHHHHHH
wanted to see 1 frame also hard
unless using playblast
if it wasn't mesh
i guess it might be much more faster while doin settings
sienz..

Today i hurt my ankle due to my stupidity
even though wearin the HP with softer foot supports also cant walk properly
Ulcers is driving me crazy sumore
emily cook Asam Prawn today
but i barely ate sum of them only
even though for the whole day i 狂撒盐
it only helps lil'bit.
